Metabolic research
Coenzymes, enzyme inhibitors and receptor agonists used to study cellular energy metabolism.
NAD+ and redox metabolism
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) is the coenzyme that carries electrons between reactions in glycolysis, the citric acid cycle and oxidative phosphorylation. It is also the substrate for sirtuins and PARP enzymes, which makes it a common reagent in metabolic and enzymology studies.
Small-molecule probes
5-Amino-1MQ is a quinolinium compound studied as an inhibitor of nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT). SLU-PP-332 is a synthetic agonist of the estrogen-related receptors (ERR), nuclear receptors involved in energy-metabolism gene programs. Methylene blue is a phenothiazine dye that cycles between oxidized and reduced forms, used widely in redox chemistry.
Multi-component formulations
LC 120 and LC 216 are defined aqueous formulations of amino acids, B vitamins and cofactors such as L-carnitine, choline and methionine, supplied for formulation and stability research.
